Pics of the outside area show improvement from day to day. Black dirt is all spread ready for landscaping.
Painters are busy inside.
Below the hill the borrow pit is nicely groomed and the area around it is leveled with the black dirt all used around the building.

Sheetrocked & Taped
The three short walls pictured are the only ones left to be sided. Should finish Thursday.
The inside is totally sheetrocked, taped and at least two coats of mud.
Plumbing and heating continue along with the electricians.
The views from Birch Hall lawn are pretty neat even if it cuts off my sunrise a little.

Finishing up on Utilities
Everything going on is seemingly finishing and getting the pipes etc. in so that the painters and the ceiling guys can close it up.
Electricians, heating men, tapers, and siding people are the busy ones.
Move date and demolition date have been set for late June and early July.

Sheetrocking & Flag Pole
Sheetrocking will be finished today if all goes well.
Taping and mudding is in full spring.
Pipes are starting to fill the hallway.
Heating and venting are all underway.
Siding is also well toward finishing.
Flag pole is up and ready to receive flag. I believe in memory of Micah Gurgel.

Sealing Concrete; Top Soil; Siding
Mike (Head Carpenter) working overtime to seal the new concrete. You will see Tom Beekman supervising.
Black dirt spread in the back over about half of the area.
Some sheetrock left to do. If all goes well they hope to finish the sheetrock tomorrow (Wednesday).
The siding on the North wing is about finished. The entrance and the larger wing of phase 2 yet to be finished.
Lilacs between the new building and Birch Hall are bursting.

Siding, Utilitiy Work, Front Circle
Siding is about finished on all sides except the front of the admin. and library sections.
One pic shows the drop ceiling with the recessed lights more finished than yesterday.
The other inside pics are all from the inside of the library showing the vent work, sprinkler piping, sheetrocking, and the framework for the drop ceiling. This may also have special lighting in it. I am not sure.
Work on the front circle continues.

Insulation and Siding
All the insulation on the inside of the outside walls is complete. Ceilings also are ready for sheetrock and some of it is in already.
There are plenty of observation windows into the lab.
Siding is started on the back (East) side and it looks great. It really adds something to see the Tyvec covered up.
