At the 2008 CLC Convention, the Trustees presented a financial plan for the building of the Academic Center. This was something they believed could be possible given past giving trends within the church body. It helped alleviate concerns regarding the amount of money that would have to be borrowed commercially for the project. There are now a few months' financial data to present in comparison.
