Reim Hall Slab, Tour Choir, Rafters

Pictures by Prof. Ron Roehl:

Outside work continues.

Reim slab being demolished. Monday will see the base sand come in and the footings dug. Then it is footings and go up from there. The weather does not look promising for good working conditions in the next weeks. Pray for better.

A look at a shelf in the Chem and Physical Science room.

Kind of dark but you can see the choir as it sang in chapel this morning. Millston on Sunday and tour the following week.

Reim Hall Demolition

Today Reim Hall was demolished, a building that served our church body well for many years. Certainly many memories were shared there by current and former students. We will try to compile some pictures and video of the activity. Please come back to this post if you wish to see what happened.

Rafters for Phase 2

Report and pics from Prof. Ron Roehl:

The long armed rafter setter is on site and phase 2 has begun in earnest.

Good planning has kept the building going even if the demolition of Reim was held off a couple days. Seems like tomorrow (Thursday) is D-Day.

First rafter up on Phase 2 and you were there.

By the end of the day there are many rafters up and bracing to keep them in place for the top rafters to sit on top. This is a very high peak.

These rafters cover the music room and the art room, I think.
