At the 2008 CLC Convention, the Trustees presented a financial plan for the building of the Academic Center. This was something they believed could be possible given past giving trends within the church body. It helped alleviate concerns regarding the amount of money that would have to be borrowed commercially for the project. The following link shows the latest update from the Trustees in how the current financial status compares with that plan:

At the fall Coordinating Council meeting, the Trustees gave this financial update of the building. During their presentation they unveiled t-shirts conveying the message: "Git-R-Done!" On the back of the shirt was a picture of the proposed building:
