Shingling and Walls
Last of the roof sections being shingled. Other side is finished.
Front walk concrete pad and part of concrete walkway
All outside walls insulated and some sheetrock up on the ceilings
Forms are mostly in for the circular concrete work to done in front of the Admin entrance. The flagpole with lights and the college name with lights will be part of this feature. It looks like one big slab but there will be cuts made in it to dress it up.
Hangers for the drop ceiling in the music room are being put in place.

Circular Wall at Entrance; Stained Glass Windows
No inside pics today, but the walls are going up rapidly and the inside footprint is taking shape.
Dirt has been moved around outside and this morning a group of willing students helped move blocks so that Mr. Tom Beekman could build the front circular wall which will carry the name of the school in metal letters.
The wall will have a flag pole behind it and have a cap that can be sat upon if anyone so desires. It is a nicely textured stone face inside and outside.
Two neat pictures of one of the the windows made by Eileen McEnroe and Pastor Roehl of Bismarck. One has the Luther Seal and the other the School Seal. These were installed Thursday and Friday while Pastor Roehl was here for meetings.

Concrete Poured for Phase Two
Library and Computer rooms preparation for, pouring, and troweling. Looks great and would make a great skating rink before the walls are put up.
There was new concrete floors poured this morning and you can see that it is still not set and finished. The picture is of the President's office area (future).
Windows are going in on the library area.
The high outside pic is of one of the windows that will have the stained glass behind it yet this week.

Wrapped and Slab Ready to be Poured
Pics and report courtesy of Prof. Ron Roehl:
The building is wrapped and paper on the roof. I guess that means it is out of the weather.
Inside is completely prepared for the slab pouring which I believe will be Monday. Since these pictures the wire reinforcing mesh has been added to the base for the slab floor.
Fans are ready and the gas dryer is set up. The cement will have to be dollied in with some power driven cement carriers. Neat and not too difficult. It will be a lot to haul.
The pic with the top vent is the back side (East) of the building.

Roofers and Metal Studs
Pictures are courtesy of Prof. Ron Roehl:
Not a lot of update - Roofers on Wed., metal studs on the block walls, electricians putting in temporary work lights, and a Nebraska gal sitting on the base for the sign and the flagpole.
Some kind of fuzzy today.

Trim or facing along the roof edge is finished around the building. Roofers can proceed to finish their part.
Bathroom wall studs are in place along with some others in the administration area.

Roofing and Blocking for Flag Pole Area
Most will recognize the circular structure from the architects original drawings.
Roofers are at work.
Carpenters are on the trim work (facia) all around.
Slab will come probably next week, then the inside walls.
Plenty siding to do so no one will stand around waiting.

Flagpole Area Prep
Pics and report courtesy of Prof. Ron Roehl
Not much update but a few pics to show some progress.
The trench is for the circular wall and flagpole area. Needs a good foundation.
Roofers made a little headway.
Lots of wood in the rafters.
Some perspective pics.

Peaks on Administration Area
Just two pics to show the progress.
One is the side view of the office area. It is the far north section of phase 2.
The other is taken from the west side to show the two peak sections and the entry area to the business and administration area.
The slab will be poured hopefully early next week.
The crane will be packed up and out of here by tonight.

Rafters Over Administration Area
Pics and report by Prof. Ron Roehl:
Trusses are going up on the last section. We will finally run out of trusses and that's good. Windy today so it was a little tougher setting the rafters.
